“It was a 2-0 count and I’d had two balls in the dirt so I was just sitting on something to hit,” McCarville said. “Got a pitch to hit and drove it.”

“It’s a pretty good feeling rounding the bases,” he said. “We try not to get too high, it’s just 4-0 against a great team.”
