On March 15th 2020, the first mention of any cancelations due to COVID-19 were announced as we canceled the Annual Spring Mixer. From there, the news only became more devastating for baseball programs around the nation when all spring sports were canceled with thousands of seniors losing their final high school season.

Fast forward one year to the date, March 15, 2021 The Chiefs would finally take the field as a school ball team for the first time since late spring of 2019. 673 days to be exact, as they defeated Willard and Aurora in the annual jamboree at Price Cutter Park in Ozark, Mo.
